Lately, posts have been going viral as Gen Zers promote being “delulu.” Additionally, 78% of applicants routinely apply for jobs they aren’t qualified for, and half of the incoming resumes don’t meet requirements. So, the odds are in your favor to fake it til you make it—a little bit—in the jobhunt.
Their study showed that it’s often our casual acquaintances, rather than our closest friends, who turn out to be our most useful connections in jobhunts. Additionally, mentorship programs can provide early career guidance and support that helps recent graduates pursue their career paths more effectively.
This cognitive bias leads us to overestimate the extent of control we have over external events. The remainder is spent on non-work activities like checking social media, browsing news websites, chatting with colleagues about non-work topics, making personal calls, and even jobhunting.

Review all your expertise and experiences and make sure that you are specific in the way you describe them e.g. Organise events could sound better as senior executive events management. So are you ready to get your hands dirty and try out a few new approaches to change your world? The list can go on and on.
Are things like a flexible schedule, ability to telecommute, additional days off, other company perks, or an off-cycle promotion an option? These are all forms of compensation that don’t necessarily involve a promotion. If the answer is no, start preparing for a jobhunt. Decide if you can live with the decision.
