Practically Perfect PA

Anyway here we are in 2014 and I hope that everyone is settling back into work after the Christmas and New Year break. I think assistants will have an interesting 2014, particularly as it is the International Year of the Secretary and Administrative Assistant with lots planned for our professional development. Niche networking is a big trend for 2014 so it would seem assistants are ahead of the curve on this one! The post What can assistants expect in 2014?

A great event idea for 2014

Practically Perfect PA

The post A great event idea for 2014 appeared first on Practically Perfect PA. Keeping event ideas innovative and fresh can be an extremely difficult exercise. It’s a delicate balancing act of trying to push the envelope to keep things exciting, but not too radical that it fails to appeal to the majority of the workforce. This seems to be even more apparent in the corporate entertaining sector, especially if you are on a tight budget.

The event was for event professionals and as you can imagine they can be a fussy bunch when it comes to venues. We held Tech Fest at ExCeL because London Technology Week was taking place in East London and we thought it would be great to be part of a number of technology related events.

The Future of Museum's TrendsWatch 2014

Small Business Labs

One of our favorite trends publications, the annual TrendsWatch report  from the Center for the Future of Museums , has been released.   There are 2 key reasons we think so highly of this report.   First, the Center looks at trends from a very different perspective than other trend watchers. This often results in insights not found elsewhere.  The second reason is the authors are museum folks, which means the report is extremely well curated and written.
