Revolutions Instead of Resolutions

Virtual Moxie

Heading into the end of last year, something was off for me. At first, I thought I was bothered that my half-sabbatical was coming to an end—except I wasn''t. Then I thought that perhaps I was experiencing some sort of soul-crushing boredom—except I don''t know how to be bored when the world is so big and beautiful and I love my life. What I was, I realized, was weary.

How to Finally Get Started on Your Big Dream

Dumb Little Man

We all have those big dreams. You know the ones: • to write a novel • to backpack across Europe • to leave your job and start your own business • to makeover your home • to go back to school • to recreate your life • to improve your health (exercise, eat healthy, quit smoking or other toxic habits) But time passes and “life” gets in the way. We are “too busy” or “too tired.”

Despite the fact that the client loves working with her, and that she’s brought great value to his company (in several instances saving him thousands of dollars he wouldn’t have saved himself), he never misses the opportunity to mention to her, or others, how “expensive” she is. At $55/hour, that’s simply not the case.

One of the greatest applications that I use on my iPhone and iPad is called Mailbox, and its sole purpose is to make processing Gmail easy.
