These things need to be standard but we’re seeing a greater spectrum that this flight to quality where it’s rich amenities you might have food and beverage offering and restaurants, very much conferencing facilities there as well, the end of your journey. The compromise here is that you get fantastic views over Golden Bay and the large plot of land means the hotel developers have added lots of on-site entertainment and restaurants. On the day I reverted to ‘show and tell’ and picked up the annual catalogue of restaurants for both of my bosses which greatly impressed them. If I was ever impressed by a particular restaurant or hotel I would send them the link or bring them in the hard copy brochure to examine.
It is easy to negotiate on the price per night with a serviced apartment as they do tend to discount on block bookings. Generally the apartments do not provide additional facilities such as a gym, restaurant or spa. The apartments are generally a good size, consisting of a separate bedroom, bathroom, living space and kitchen.
I work at a travel and event planning agency. They had many different reviews of their restaurant, but the ones that came up first were the negative ones. I’m betting it’s been a long time.
