I decided to wait because it is so much quieter the higher up you go in a city hotel. The Hilton certainly know how to look after business travellers, everything is easy and stress free. Exactly what you want when you have travelled into the city for business meetings and just want to relax in your hotel after a long day.

A Tune Hotel is unquestionably a budget option and unless you are the most cost conscious of companies you wouldn’t be looking at this hotel for your Executive. A budget hotel in the centre of London on a Friday afternoon brought forth scary connotations of loud traffic and the general hustle and bustle of a major city.

Hairdryer and make-up mirror. The hotel has everything that a business traveller requires with access to a 24 hour business centre and faultless wifi throughout the building. Advertised minimum rate per night $319 (January 2014). . Bose CD music system with assorted CDs with i-Pod connecters. Digital in-room temperature control.

Sustainability certainly hasn’t been a priority for assistants organising events, particularly as we often have to manage events alongside our actual day job and the budgets we have to spend on events are still quite a bit smaller than they were a few years ago. Your speakers and your attendees to travel by public transport.

A few years ago I was travelling with my boss to a number of appointments around London. The weather was terrible and we ended up having to cancel practically all of our meetings and slowly make our way back to the office (via the dreaded tube). All of the hotel’s bedrooms have internet ready smart TV’s with plug & play hook-ups with allows guests to stream their Apple products or laptop content straight to the TV with 1 plug. Whatever the budget guests pretty much have the same experience which I think is great. Opinions are entirely our own.
