When the HVAC system was installed, someone thought we might want the user manual for the system: a 400 page PDF document. Instead of filing the PDF on the network, the document was printed and placed in a filing cabinet , where it will sit until doomsday or at least until someone cleans out those files. It adds up.

Another option is to create templates in Microsoft Office and either e-mail them to everyone or place them on a network drive for everyone to access. This way, everyone will have to follow the exact same details as are set out. This way, everyone will be using the exact same documents , spreadsheet , etc. so that they dont get changed.

Click on Tools, Macro, Record New Macro… Type in the name of the macro and a description for it, so that others know what this is used for. Click on either the toolbar icon that you created, the keyboard shortcut or click Tools, Macro, and Macros…, then click run. Make sure that you cut this, not delete it.
