and Canadian states and counties on our proposed trip, there are laws that allow the authorities to heavily fine the Pit Bull owners, at best, or euthanize the dog! We didn’t think much else about taking our dog, except any quarantine or vaccination requirements for crossing the border into and out of Canada.

Here's a tip: you talk to, email several people a day. Most people remember to click the "share on Facebook" (or Twitter, Digg, etc.) In addition to sharing and posting on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, I like to adapt for other media, as well as information products (eBooks and special reports).

Alright, well, I know he emailed me to let me know I had a broken link in a post. And I know he was interested in what that link led to, which made me think well of him, so I emailed him back. In less than 5 emails, in fact. This is perhaps my most important rule of thumb, whether writing books, blog posts, or emails.

I overheard that on Twitter the other day, and it’s a statement I disagree with. He spends lots of time on Twitter and Facebook. It didn’t work at all as described and I emailed him to ask “did you actually use this or are you just selling it for the affiliate income?&# A client must like you?

His emails are usually brief, casual, and mention something like, “Have a nice weekend,” or “Hope everything’s good with you.” So it was weird to get an email that was so stilted and formal that it sounded like it was written by the Queen of England’s chamberlain to someone she was too polite to outright call a waste of space.
