It’s not so much about receiving a ‘certification’ as it is about what will be covered in a class or online course. How do I find out more about the World Class Assistant curriculum based designation and program? . Does Joan offer coaching sessions outside of the World Class Assistant program? The classes are held in Las Vegas.

I mentored other younger assistants. I started this blog while temping/job hunting and I was allowed to write or do personal side projects as long as it was not interfering with my work. Outside of work, I started to take classes at night (and even on the weekends). On Monday nights I went to hula class.

Sign up with the major job hunting sites with your resume and profile, join social network sites geared towards work, and meet with every temp agency in town just to be safe. From what I've heard, the assistants did leave with class and their dignity intact. How can you make yourself easily found?

And as I was working, job hunting and/or temping, I had to find other sources of happiness. I would rather go to a pilates studio that has classes late at night that fits my work hours vs going to a gym that only costs $30 a month. Take an online class and study at work. Volunteer and mentor online by being an email pen pal.
