I started this blog while temping/job hunting and I was allowed to write or do personal side projects as long as it was not interfering with my work. You answer the phone, book travel, offer beverages to guests, book meetings, prepare the conference room, order food, etc. In the event of an emergency or when family visits, it would be great for you to already know who the family members are. If you are out sick, a temp will have to sub for you. Do they know the vm passwords?

I'm pushed pretty far in terms of capacity on most days - one extra board meeting or event can result in a spiral of 60 hour weeks. The amount of skill, pressure, stress, and problem solving differs at each of those levels. EA work is typically admin work - phones, travels, calendars, expense reports, mtgs/luncheons, etc.

I was stressed out from the pace of work and also the length of a couple of special projects with a long lead time. We also get a mini break when our boss is traveling as the stress level is generally lower and we can catch up on our workload. A week or two ago, it was one of those weeks where my brain just felt tired.
