In interviews I’ve said that I’ve worked for introverts and extroverts and my job is to conform to the needs of my boss. This means when you show up for the interview you are courteous to everyone. Your interview starts even before you shake hands with anyone or answer an interview question. Exhaust all resources.

You’d think that if you had a credit card, you’d be safe, but I once had to get a cashier’s check for almost $400 for a work event. Whenever you interview for a job, there’s at least 2-3 interviews if not more. You’ll need to make copies of your resume or have a nice folder. Have cash in your bank account.

I also knew everything I was feeling was very true for me, but also confusing because if my boss didn’t need me, I wouldn’t have a job, I wouldn’t get a paycheck, and I wouldn’t have all this experience to put on my resume. When I wasn’t with him, I was catching up with friends over dinner, at an event, or reading and relaxing alone.
