Coworking Leasing In India Falls 43%

In India, leasing of office space by coworking operators dropped by 43% year-on-year to 21.6 lakh square feet (2.16 million square feet) in the January-March quarter, according to Rediff. Last year, coworking operators had leased 37.6 lakh square feet (3.76 million square feet) during the same period. CBREs data also revealed that coworking operators share in total office leasing transactions decreased to 12% from 22% in the previous years quarter.
