When I was in 11th grade or so I had a private jazz piano teacher, who was pretty cool, and my highschool music teacher asked him to come in and do a seminar. I say dumb things on Twitter sometimes. With what were doubtless the best of intentions, he barely played a note, sticking mostly to talking and playing recordings. All the time.
