Along with our multiple work passwords, we have a password for our home computer, and if we sign up for Facebook, Twitter or any other website, we have another password to remember. At one office I worked in we had a mail cart with slots for everyones mail, but it was filed First name, Last name. I grew up in a world that used Last Name, First Name (i.e. the phone book, standard filing practices etc.) This goes for filing and also how your contacts are ordered in Outlook. I use hanging file folders labelled from January through to December. They are legal-sized folders, because I like a lot of space, but letter size would work just as well. Every afternoon before I leave for the day, I go through the hanging file for that month to see if there is anything I need to bring forward for the next day.
