It’s easy to fall into the trap of emailing off four, five, or more guest posts quickly and then expecting to see your work on the blog of your choice the very next day. If in doubt, a polite email to the site owner may be in order. It’s perfectly acceptable to email your contact and ask about the status of your post.

I’d like a website, but I’m having a hard time justifying the expense.&# Something doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive, but I believe it has to *look* like it was done to quality standards for that perception of “expensive&# – which many people equate to grounded, established business.

Like, say, emailing us to ask if this is the right email to email us at, when the email you should use to apply is written on the job ad. When the job ad says email us with information and samples, don’t tweet us and say, “Just click here.&# Someone wrote an email to “Mr. Bangamon.&#
