What do emotional intelligence and travel planning have in common? I have been traveling extensively for business (and a little pleasure) for 3 straight months. I have been a business traveler for 27 years. While the typical person thinks traveling is glamorous, the business traveler has a different perspective.

We traveled, bought a Jet Ski, joined a volleyball league, threw parties and regularly met friends for dinner and drinks. Besides the opportunity to buy some new school clothes and get a pair of new shoes, I absolutely loved learning. My initial thought (months out) was that I would take my time and pack over several weekends; meaning just pulling some clothes here and there or shoes and beach attire so I wouldn’t be rushed at the last minute. The only place that I can find quality clothes that fit me is at Talbots. When you purchase quality clothing, it lasts longer so you actually spend less money over a 6 year period. You may have to travel a little ways out of your community to find a store that better fits your budget and your body. You are right.
