It is a lovely part of Geneva with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The super-fast Wifi certainly did the trick and I was able to catch up on everything Practically Perfect PA related. The Swiss Luxury Apartments really do stand up to their name. Advertised minimum rate per night is 550 CHF (October 2014).

The Nadler Soho, London

The Nadler Soho is located just off Soho Square which is pretty much in the centre of London’s West End with its theatres, restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. Around these parts hotels are pretty expensive (sometimes unreasonably so) but The Nadler is what you would call a hidden gem.

We had asked for a twin room but instead the two mattresses that made up the king size bed had been unzipped and pulled slightly apart. Similar to a lot of spa hotels the Nutfield’s Cloister restaurant offers a three course meal (£38 per head) as part of the weekend package rates. Good thing I was staying with my mum!

Dixit , Tokaido , Ticket to Ride , and Hanabi were just a small sampling of what showed up that month. We had a great (albeit expensive) time. It took much longer than anticipated. MUCH longer.
