Most of the entrepreneurs I talk with tell me that they started their business because they wanted some form of freedom. You might have interest income, rental income, and investment income along with your business income or salary. What about you? For interest income, it is likely to be very little.

A study done in 2005 showed that women under 25 working full time earned 93 cents to every dollar a man earned. That means that if I take a salaried job today, I might be earning $32,550 while the guy next to me earns $35,000. We’re much, much closer to the glass ceiling than our mothers. Women over 25? Not nearly. Makes sense.
