I firmly believe in charging for quality content; for me, ebooks and followup series work great. Ebooks aren’t a zero marginal cost product. Real is the future.

Set aside the services we offer, strip away the great ebooks, the recommended resources, everything but the content. When their readers don’t actually know what they do, because they never visit the site, they simply open Google Reader or their email for the RSS feed. I think we are already seeing ebooks move to free.
