The difficult part was between the 3 hour time zone difference and finding out late in the afternoon meant I really had less than a couple of hours to actually take care of it all. I also always bring many copies of my resume, cover letter, and recommendations. I also always have the link in my email signature.

Whether based on your cover letter or resume, recruiters only take 6 seconds to see if you are match. A scary moment to share is one time I had 48 hours to pull off a major recruiting event in another country. The kicker was, since the event was international, there was a time zone difference.
