After many many years of booking business travel to Houston for my Executives I finally got to travel there myself in January 2014. As you would expect there service levels are incredibly high particularly in restaurants, hotels and bars. For assistants, planning will be crucial when organising business travel to Houston.

It is a lovely part of Geneva with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need if you can’t quite face the expensive local restaurants and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with fruit juices, water and fizzy drinks. Our opinions are entirely our own.

The Nadler Soho is located just off Soho Square which is pretty much in the centre of London’s West End with its theatres, restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. Around these parts hotels are pretty expensive (sometimes unreasonably so) but The Nadler is what you would call a hidden gem.

I had just spent 2 months travelling around a freezing USA and although back in the UK my body was still a little cold, a little jet lagged and in serious need of some rest and relaxation. Similar to a lot of spa hotels the Nutfield’s Cloister restaurant offers a three course meal (£38 per head) as part of the weekend package rates.

During my time in Geneva it certainly hadn’t escaped my notice that Geneva is an expensive city: you can’t really escape it (unless you spend all of your time hanging around the central train station). I had spent three days in Geneva and was well aware that everything is ridiculously expensive.

I manage his schedule and monitor his emails, as well as help organise some of his travel, company events, and client dinners, occasional research, expenses and ad hoc tasks – all the general PA duties. There are some fab vietnamese restaurants – I’m partial to a kimchi banh mi.

We had a great (albeit expensive) time. I had a great birthday lunch with Anne at a restaurant in our inner harbour. We went on the first big family trip we’ve had without extended family as we traveled to San Diego. The kids and I went to see Marvel Universe LIVE. I turned 41.
