I knew we were going to go back to that city the next year so negotiated with the hotel that if I booked the next event at their venue would they waive the cancellation fee. I have been an Executive Assistant for over 10 years, and am now working for a Vice President in an academic medical center. Her skill set it basically calendar and coffee.
