The spring issue of Point Magazine is on going global. Point is published by the Direct Marketing Association and this issue is well worth reading.
Being a data and trends guy, my favorite article is The Global Consumers: Diverse, Demanding, Connected. It covers a wide range of global trends and demographic shifts with an emphasis on the growing power of Asia and BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) countries.
Recent survey results from Network Solutions Small Business Success Index shows that about 19% of small businesses (less than 100 employees) sell outside the U.S. With the growing economic importance of global markets, we expect rapid growth in the number of small business exporters.
