The Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) recently released a study showing that nearly 30% of the U.S. workforce are gig workers. This works out to be about 44 million Americans. They also found that contingent workers represented $792.4 billion in staffing buyer spend. That's a lot of money and you can see why corporations are trying to better manage this spend. SIA is an analyst firm that provides advisory services on contingent staffing and workforce solutions.
