Ugh! You have big dreams but you don’t know how to get them from concept to reality.

“Project management is not my strong suit.”

“I have a lot on my plate.”

“Things are falling through the cracks.”

Any of those sound like you? Don’t worry – these three tips will get you on the right path.

  1. Break your project into teeny, tiny steps. Get micro. Every little thing you may need to write, make, and send. Then put the list in a logical order – chronological is the most common.
  1. Avoid arbitrary deadlines! Nothing kills motivation faster than stress. If you don’t have real, hard deadlines, create benchmark goals instead of deadlines. This looks like rewarding yourself for crossing tasks off your lists, such as a nice lunch or a day off.
  1. Batch and time block your work. Set aside chunks of time for you to get in the zone to complete the work. Whether it’s 30 minutes or 3 hours, setting aside the time will ensure you’ve created space in your week for the work.

By incorporating these 3 simple tips you can avoid the stress of project management and tackle it one day at a time! Here is a great blog post all about batching your work, this has been a huge productivity super tool for me!
