Does the Law Of Attraction Really Work?

This is a guest post by Matthew Snider (see bit at the end of article).

You may have heard about the law of attraction as it relates to bringing positivity and good things into your life. You might wonder if it actually works and how to implement it so that you can reap the benefits so many others have begun to experience themselves. Is manifesting your deepest desires really something you can do? The law of attraction is incredibly powerful and can be one of the best things you discover in your life.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The law of attraction uses the base principle that you can control what you attract into your life by thinking it. In general, the more you envision something, the more likely it will come into your life. The law of attraction works in a variety of ways. The majority of people utilize this knowledge for a better life, such as envisioning themselves with more money or in the perfect career. Others may be using the law of attraction without even knowing it, as you’ll notice that if you feel anxious and constantly think of being anxious, it brings you more anxiety and worry.

How to Make it Work for You

The way to make the law of attraction work for you is by having the right intent and changing the way that you think. For example, if you’d like to see yourself in a wonderful career that provides monetary gain and sustenance, you need to start picturing yourself regularly working in that field. The same can be applied to the opposite; to stop thinking of yourself being so anxious, depressed, etc and instead envisioning yourself happy, fulfilled and excited with a zest for life. Even if you don’t necessarily believe the thought or image at first, just make it a routine to think what you’d like to attract. Don’t forget to remove all doubts from your mind.

Does it Work?

The law of attraction has worked for millions of people. There have been books on the subject, such as The Secret written by Rhonda Byrne, that tell of this powerful life-changing mentality. Many celebrities and historical figures used versions of the law of attraction with powerful results. Plus, you may find it to be worthwhile in your everyday life. The more you envision positivity, the more you will attract it. You can see it at work in many areas of your life. For example, if you’ve ever been so depressed and assume that you have bad luck or a bad life, you might find negative things happening to you which only exacerbates your issues. The key is to use the law of attraction for good things and to understand that you are what you attract.

While the law of attraction is quite powerful, it takes patience, determination and dedication. Don’t expect to envision yourself winning the lottery today and have the winning ticket tomorrow. It just doesn’t work that way. Instead, think positive things each and every day. Make it a habit to do this, and you’ll attract what you want and are seeking as it pertains to your future life and overall well-being.
