Creating an Environment for Success with Dr. Adeel Khan

109 Dr. Adeel Khan S.com

Adeel Khan, M.D., started his career journey as a personal trainer, but the lack of intellectual stimulation and his continuing desire to help people evolved into his current role as a doctor, entrepreneur and researcher. After his younger sister died while he was in residency training, Khan’s desire to help others provided him with an even greater drive to work toward his goals.

During and after medical school, Khan discovered that people were focused on preventative care and immediate treatments rather than health and lifestyle tools that would create a lasting impact. Wanting to learn more, he traveled the world to learn from conferences and people in countries including Europe and Asia. His breadth of knowledge and skills in medicine and regenerative care led to him being handpicked to treat several royal families.

In this episode of Brilliant Thoughts, Khan discusses how you can improve your body’s natural healing abilities, but says that to start doing this, you need to rework your environment. That is, you need to find a way to restructure the world and stimuli around you to encourage your success rather than hinder it. Khan and Brilliant Thoughts host Tristan Ahumada also discuss managing your attention, avoiding shortcuts in life and current regenerative medicine research, including Khan’s own entrepreneurial and research projects.

Adeel Khan completed his doctor of medicine degree at the University of Ottawa in Canada. After training in sports medicine, he specialized in regenerative medicine, conducting one of the first Health Canada-approved clinical trials with mesenchymal stromal cells. He is known internationally for treating many high-profile celebrities and athletes—from everyday clients to the richest man in Dubai. Driven by his passion to improve health, he co-founded Xalt and is the chief scientific officer of Science & Humans. He has a special interest in using interventional procedures to treat weightlifting injuries and chronic neck and back pain. Find him on Instagram @dr.akhan and on YouTube at Doctor Adeel.
