Recently, I was asked how I keep up to date on technology trends and training. I have to say that my answer is pretty simple. I follow hashtags and influencers. Instead of wasting time scrolling mindlessly through social media feeds, I do my best to make those platforms work for me.
LinkedIn is my go-to platform for influencers and hashtags within the administrative profession. I follow hashtags that are relevant to my professional development and areas of interest. Following hashtags allows me to discover new ideas and trending topics from thought leaders that I am not connected with.
Surprisingly, Instagram is a treasure trove of training and snippets of inspiration for Administrative Professionals. Following hashtags like #outlook and #msonenote helps me stay abreast of the latest technology releases and updates.
