When I first started working in London in 2003 one of the key initiatives for most companies was corporate social responsibility and more specifically making the office environmentally friendly. Turn off all your electronic equipment before you go home. Recycle any waste paper using the bins provided.

I guess I saw working from home as either skiving off or something the grown-up managers did with their superior equipment! All in all not a very affective day at work!
